THE MISSION OF THE COMMISSIONER SERVICE
As the liaisons between the local Council and Scouting Units, Commissioners help units successfully implement the Scouting program. Commissioners maintain regular contact with Unit leaders, provide mentoring and program assistance, assist them in rechartering on time and most importantly help their Unit become a quality Unit. This year we have a new program called the Journey To Excellence with three levels of quality: bronze silver and gold. Commissioners are successful when the Units effectively deliver the ideals of Scouting to their members.
